We are at the crossroads of 4 departments (Vaucluse, Drôme, Ardèche, Gard), which will enable you to enjoy a lot of diversified activities.


For those who love Patrimony and history:

Castles (Suze la Rousse, Grignan, Palais des Papes d' Avignon, la forteresse de Mornas.. .), roman vestiges (Vaison la Romaine, Orange, Nîmes...), the troglodyte sites ( le Barry, Aven d'Orgnac....), the Patrimony days (in September)




For those who like sport:

Canoe-kayak (Ardèche), climbing (dentelles de Montmirail, Ardèche …), cycling (Mont Ventoux, numerous tours for cyclo-tourism, mountainbike at Uchaux and Saint-Restitut…), tennis ,(Suze and Bollene), golf (Orange, Clansayes..), walking (numerous routes in the countryside), equestrian center, fishing (in rivers, lakes…) water skitow (Lamotte-du-Rhône) etc..




For those who love nature:


provence

the surrounding countryside with its vineyards, lavender fields, Sault country, les gorges de l’Ardèche, le Ventoux, les Cévennes. Visit the Naturoptère du Comtat, the creative woods of Vallonne, etc…




For the music lovers:


the chorégies d’Orange et de Vaison la Romaine, the blues festival at Bagnols sur Cèze, jazz festival at Crest and different places in the vineyards, musical festivals in many towns and villages, African and gypsy music, classical dance and folk demonstrations, etc..




And theatre lovers:


festival d’Avignon (in July), night feasts at the Grignan castle (July-August) and many theatre shows outdoor, etc…




For the children:


play activities in some castles with knights and ladies, archery, fights, the crocodiles farm at Pierrelatte, the ancient circus Alexis GRUSS at the Piolenc castle, many shows for children (theatre, puppets, sings…)




For the gourmets:


the wines route (from Bollène through Gigondas via Cairanne and Châteauneuf du Pape…); you will discover the flavour of the Côtes du Rhône, the wine university at Suze la Rousse, the delicious olives from Nyons, the oil from Nyons and Mausanne, the black truffle from Richerenche (winter), honey ,the Provençal cooking and it special flavours, many rural restaurants.

For the art lovers:


the exhibition at the Mas de Costebelle, the ochres of Roussillon, the antiques on the Isle sur la Sorgue, the lights quarries at Baux de Provence, many art galleries in the surroundings.
